Simple properties with considerable impact: some mathematical comments and examples
Abstract: We start with some basic mathematical properties, most of which are logically independent in the sense that they do not imply each other. The combination of some of these properties (as axioms) defines several well-known objects such as triangular (co)norms, (quasi-)copulas and others. Some of these objects turn out to have very interesting and even surprising properties.
